GUROL ERKAL
INDUSTRIAL DESIGNER
Born in Ayvalık, Gurol is an industrial designer with over 15 years of experience working across multiple platforms from automotive sector to building products.
While in university he sharpened his craft, creating projects with Arcelik and Demirdokum. After designing building products in Serel, he decided to make the jump to automotive industry, BMC, spending a few years with specializing in interior and exterior bus design. In March 2011, he involved in Eczacıbaşı design team and creating projects with functionality and visual impact.

2011 - Present / Eczacıbaşı Building Products / Senior Designer
Product design including Artema faucets, Vitra sanitaryware, furniture, bathtubes and accessories. Also working on bathroom trends, new materials and design registering.
2007 - 2011 / BMC San.ve Tic.A.Ş. / Design Specialist
Created interior and exterior designs for BMC Bus family, including city buses, school buses and touristic buses etc.
2006 - 2007 / Serel Seramik / Product Designer
Designed new ceramic and faucet projects and created new brand identity.
